The rooftop deck has a bar and a small lap pool, and the rooms are nicely done, many with ocean views. It's a first-rate, first-world hotel just a block from a beautiful beach, nicely appointed throughout. It doesn't look or feel like a normal Brazilian hotel.

We had a fantastic seven-night, eight-day stay at the LS Hotel for our wedding trip, along with 11 friends and family who came from California to Joao Pessoa. The staff were attentive, kind, polite, and went out of their way to look after us. Thanks to Samantha, Rodrigo, and Rhuan at the front desk, and Fabiano at breakfast. I even had bolo de rolo delivered to our room, which was so sweet. I can't recommend the hotel enough to friends and family, and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

The restaurant is very good for dinner, though not the best value. I only eat OMAD, and the breakfast didn't have much for me. My main issues were the shower's low water pressure and how hard it was to adjust the temperature. The hotel is only three floors, has no balcony, and sits a block from the beach, so I wouldn't recommend paying extra for an "Oceanview." It could be the best place in Joao Pessoa. See my other reviews for my preferred place to eat.

I had lunch at the rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant twice, and the tuna and avocado was tasty. The gentlemen who looked after me were great, and it was hard to ask for better on a sunny day. The rooftop area is a nice addition to the services. After another week at the LS Hotel, I'm impressed again: the staff are consistently amazing and kind, and my room was beautiful and clean. See you again soon, LS Hotel.

The bathrooms were even better than the very good rooms. It's a good hotel in a not-bad location, and I'd highly recommend it. Wi-Fi was a bit slow.
