They charged us for sheets and towels with some black stains my girlfriend had made, saying they couldn’t get them clean. They hadn’t even tried, though, and threatened to call the police when we wouldn’t pay. Maybe they assumed they could take advantage of us because we were tourists. I travel a lot and have never been treated in such an offensive way. I’d stay away from this place.

We had a good stay. The hotel was easy to reach and well situated, and breakfast was generous. Everyone we dealt with, from reception to the kitchen, was kind, attentive, and ready to help. Parking is limited to two spaces, but we had no trouble leaving the car on a nearby street. The internet was unstable at times; whenever we needed help, the receptionist was very attentive and did her best to assist.

The location was wonderful, close to the waterfront and the Tambaú market, and it was easy enough to park on the street out front since the hotel has no parking. I loved breakfast, with its range of breads, cakes, cheeses, and juices. The rooms were clean, and Eugênia at reception was very friendly and helpful. A really good hotel!
