Pousada Café com Charme

Seems like a nice place to stay. I only went there to pick up a friend.

I only stopped by, I didn’t go inside.

Great!

I won’t comment on the facilities or location since others have already covered those well. I want to talk about the service during my stay. The owners, Ivana and Sandro, are something special. I’ve traveled all over Brazil and never been treated so warmly. When Ivana heard my niece had a slight fever, she made her tea and toast without me even asking. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I felt like I was staying with a caring relative. Later, when I was looking for somewhere to buy soup or broth, Sandro called several places to help me out. As soon as he found one, he told me how far away it was and how to get there. They really care about making guests feel well looked after. They aren’t just business owners looking for customers, they’re decent, principled people with a lot of heart. The staff are just as kind, which made me feel that their approach is about making friends, not simply attracting guests. I’d barely left before I wanted to come back. They’re a lovely couple, and I’ll definitely return.
