It's a simple, affordable place, and the service stood out most. The receptionist and the woman at breakfast were very helpful and polite. This is for people who aren't looking for luxury. The basic rooms have a box spring bed, air conditioning, good lighting, and a hot shower. Our first room had a bit of a bad smell from the grouting, but they quickly moved us to another room and fixed the problem. Breakfast was fairly varied and good quality, and the sheets and towels were clean and well cared for. I do recommend it! I also arrived at 6 in the morning, and they didn't charge me for an extra night as places sometimes do until noon. They let me in as a courtesy. Approved!

Whenever I come to João Pessoa, this is where we stay. It's clean and cozy, with the kind of feeling that makes us feel at home. In low season, the attractive R$120 rate includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner are R$12 each, or just R$10 for guests. The food is tasty and fresh, made to order instead of reheated. Even the nutritionist is accredited by Brazil's best-known health plan. The staff are attentive and helpful, and make you feel as if you've known them for ages. I highly recommend it any time of year. They know plenty of tour guides and other places that can make the trip memorable.

Keep an eye out for this inn on the João Pessoa waterfront. It's squeezed between two other businesses, so it's easy to walk right past. Everything is simple, but it has what you need. The room looked clean, though I still had an allergy attack and a sore throat. Our shower wasn't good and seemed clogged. The breakfast is tasty, the staff are great, and the place is peaceful. Parking is accessed from a street behind the inn.

The room was filthy, the cleaning was awful, and there was a strong sewer smell. The shower barely dripped, and even though I asked for it to be fixed in the morning, it was still like that when I got back at night. The pillows were stained, there was only one towel for the two of us, and there wasn't even a bathroom mat. Calling my stay terrible doesn't do it justice. Even a free stay would have been too expensive.
