The shower wasn’t working for the first few days, and then we were charged an unnecessary fee with no warning. I’d already paid more than 3,000 and stayed 12 nights. My fiancée came in only twice and never stayed longer than 20 minutes. I’ll be back in João Pessoa plenty of times, but I definitely won’t stay here again.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming, polite, and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

The owners and staff gave us a top-notch welcome, and the place was spotless. The rooms are very simple, but for the price it’s great value and doesn’t really leave you wanting anything. It’s not a four or five star inn. The location is excellent, two blocks from the boardwalk between Tambaú and Manaíra, with pharmacies and Mercado de Artesanato two blocks away and Mercado de Frutas three blocks away. At night, you can walk to the busy boardwalk, with lots of people out and plenty of food stalls, probably cheaper than in your own city.

The location is excellent, but I couldn’t stay because of the water’s smell. When I turned on the tap, it smelled awful, like sewage. I’d booked four nights, checked in one day, and checked out the next because I couldn’t stand the smell.
