The breakfast was basic, and the hotel looked awful. The room was a letdown too: the windows had no curtains and looked onto other buildings, there was no shower stall door, and the bed had uncomfortable wooden parts. The sheets and pillows were poor quality. I stayed one weekend night in Juiz de Fora. It was the cheapest option I found, but honestly, the experience was far below what I expected. If I go to JF again, I'd drive the extra 100 kilometers and sleep at home. You can get a night's sleep there if you have no other choice, but bring your own bedding and towels. I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean place.

The reception was great, and for the price it was worth it. The only issue was the parking lot, which is small for the number of guests. Cars could get scratched or damaged in the tight space.
