The location downtown is handy, and parking indoors was easy. Staff were friendly, though they all spoke Portuguese. Breakfast was excellent, but our TV didn't work.

I wasn't staying at Maxim this time, but with the internet down at my friends' house and urgent work to do, I called to ask for help. Claudio at reception invited me to come by and use their private internet room, where the connection was solid. He was so kind about it and helped with a smile. Thanks to hotel Maxim and Claudio, you saved my day! I've stayed there a few times over the years and have always been completely satisfied. It's a small, clean hotel in a good location, managed really well. The staff are courteous and efficient. This was another pleasant experience.
