Hotel Central Rosário

It was clean enough, but the service wasn't good. After midnight, you're not allowed to come or go, and they charge for things they shouldn't.

We paid R$267 for one night, but the room looked like something out of a horror movie, as the photos show. There was a lot of noise, and the owner's service was terrible. After 1 a.m., he said we'd be locked out if we weren't back. They also keep your room key when you go out, even just to take a walk. Check-in was at 15h, but parking wouldn't be available until 18h, which made no sense, and they charged us the difference too. There's so much I could say about this place after just one night.

The shower worked, and that's about the only good thing. Everything else, from reception to the room, was horrible. The floors, walls, doors, and ceiling all looked like they were falling apart. It felt like this may once have been a good hotel, but the people running it now don't keep it fit to rent. Things were confusing and there was no transparency, and there weren't clean towels or blankets. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

It's a historic building, and the rooms are basic and small, though clean. Unfortunately, I had to spend the night sharing a room with another guest who smoked and ignored the hotel's rules. Nobody stepped in to do anything.
