Mercure Jundiai Shopping

The worst part was the crib they brought for our one-year-old. What they used instead of a mattress was a pile of pillows and a comforter, far too soft and an extreme suffocation risk. The rest was awful too. The breakfast was barely decent, the room was small even by budget hotel standards, the towel felt like sandpaper, and the sheet was terrible and didn't even have elastic. The air conditioning barely cooled the room, and only sort of worked after 6 a.m. We were hot, changed rooms, and had the same problem. This definitely isn't the Mercure standard.

The location is handy, close to a shopping center, and the room has a small kitchen. Breakfast was very good. Check-in was quick after doing it online, and the hotel is convenient if you're traveling to Cajamar too.

For a work trip, I had a good stay. The hotel was clean and quiet enough that I slept well, even on the second floor. The shower worked really well, and the lift was quick with hardly any wait. Breakfast was okay in quality, though nothing stood out, and the buffet seemed to be missing something every time. They could organize it better.

The meals were better than what you'd get at any American hotel at the same price, no question. My room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and housekeeping was pleasant each day.
