VOA Hotel Rezende

Excellent.

Great.

The first time we stayed there, our apartment was good, with a balcony, a wide bed, and a nice bathroom. The next visit was a letdown. We booked at the end of October for December 30 to January 1, 2026, checking out on January 2. We couldn't remember which apartment type we'd had before, so we described it as being at hotel rezende, with a balcony facing the park. We paid nearly 700.00 per day. When we arrived, we were surprised to be put in a poor apartment with no balcony, a small bathroom, and a basic double bed. We complained and were told we'd booked through the reservation center and that it wasn't the hotel's fault. They even showed us a voucher for a booking in a rear-facing apartment at hotel águas virtuosas, without air conditioning or a balcony. We were disappointed and tried to sort it out, but got nowhere at first. We kept speaking with the manager on WhatsApp until last week, when she stopped replying. The staff seemed poorly prepared and unable to resolve the issue, so I wouldn't recommend it. On February 9, the hotel reimbursed us for the difference between the room we paid for and the one we stayed in. The issue was resolved.

The room wasn't clean when we arrived. There were hairs on the bed, and even after we asked for it to be cleaned, the job was poor and they didn't replace essentials like towels. I also attached photos and videos that clearly show the problems. There were loud parties during our stay, and the rooms don't block sound properly. Noise came right into the room, so getting any rest was impossible. If you're traveling for work and need peace and quiet, this hotel isn't a good fit. The whole experience felt disorganized and showed little care or respect for guests. I can't recommend it to anyone looking for rest, comfort, or even a basically clean place.
