The internet kept cutting out, so I couldn’t stay connected through even a one-hour work meeting. Things had already started badly: my room had no soap, and one of the white towels was stained. In the morning I got up early to wash and leave, but there was no running water from the taps. Staff said it would be back “very soon” but didn’t explain why the water wasn’t working. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

The staff were really friendly, and the pousada is in a good location. Our room wasn’t the nicest, probably: it had no window and opened off the dining room. It seemed like the other guests liked their rooms better.

The receptionist was very warm and polite, and the pousada itself felt cozy. The breakfast staff, though, looked rather unfriendly. My room had no soap. I enjoyed the stay, but a few things could be improved.

Alana, the owner, was attentive and welcoming, and handled everything with real professionalism. The location was perfect, and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. I’d definitely recommend it!
