The breakfast was simple but well organized, with cakes, breads, two kinds of juice, three kinds of fruit, and more. The pousada is lovely and cozy, with a balcony room offering a beautiful city view. Our room was spacious and had a TV, minibar, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a hot shower. Housekeeping came every day. I only missed having soap, but I’d brought my own and didn’t ask reception about it. The pousada is five minutes’ walk from the historic center. Its parking area is small, though there’s a secure place to leave the car on the street in front.

The rooms were clean and well kept, with a TV, minibar, and air conditioning. The pousada is cozy and very close to the historic center, and breakfast was great. I recommend it!

The reception, housekeeping, and kitchen staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. Over my six-day stay, the room was cleaned every day except one, and the sheets and towels were changed on five days. The shower water was hot, but the bathroom had a leaking flush that needs repair. My room, number 4, smelled moldy, was cramped between the three beds, and had no hangers. The internet didn’t work in the room, so I had to stand by the door to get a signal. Breakfast was basic, and tablecloths were only put on the tables on Sunday.

The place is beautiful and full of plants, including fruit trees, with birds singing around. My bed felt hard, and the pillows did too. The shower was also awful. I don’t know whether the beds and showers are like that in the other rooms, but aside from those two things, it’s lovely. 😅
