Pousada Brisamares

Our stay was awful. There was no hot water in the shower, and insects in the rooms made it hard to relax or sleep. When we arrived, they charged us more than the original booking price, saying it was because there were more of us, even though the booking clearly showed a lower amount. To make matters worse, our reservation was canceled entirely, apparently to stop us from leaving a review. I’d strongly advise against staying here.

There are lots of places around the property to relax, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidied every day, and breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi was really bad, and the “swimming pool” is actually a small kids’ pool. Still, I’d recommend the place if you don’t need a pool and don’t mind being away from the kite spot. I’d rate it 4.6.

The rooms had flying ants everywhere, and there was no hot water in the shower. The manager charged us more than the prices on Booking, without explaining why. No one spoke English and there was no internet for us to communicate, so we lost half the day there. The Booking prices were lower than his prices.

Kitesurfers will love the people and atmosphere here. Just check the restaurant hours beforehand. Once it closes, there are very few food options nearby.
