Pousada Recanto Atalaia

I’ve been here twice. It’s quite peaceful, and the service is okay. I find the price affordable, at least as of the date of this review.

A calm, quiet place to stay with the family, with a pool, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a garage. It’s also very close to the beach.

My reservation experience was one of the saddest I’ve had. I booked through Booking, then the next day someone contacted me on WhatsApp asking me to move to another place because they had overbooked. The WhatsApp number belonged to a private individual and had no connection to the inn listed. I said I didn’t want to change my reservation because Booking showed it as confirmed. The person in charge thought I had to cancel or transfer to another inn because they didn’t know how to use Booking. They kept messaging until I handled the process myself, and wanted me to Pix money to an unknown account. I had booked through Booking and didn’t know who kept contacting me. They never used Booking’s messaging tool, only starting to message me there on the night the reservation was canceled. I canceled my booking. I had to spend an evening calling Booking, a call they could have made themselves. I had to contact Booking so they could get in touch with the inn. I was really upset to have to deal with this during my vacation, on top of all the stress and embarrassment.

Alexandre was very polite and helpful. The inn is just a few meters from the beach, and the place itself is cozy, clean, and well organized. I recommend it.
