I wouldn’t recommend this place. For me, it’s overrated. It wasn’t very clean, especially the entrance, and traffic noise was loud. After eight weeks in Brasil, this was the worst breakfast I’d had. The receptionist, a woman, sat looking at her smartphone all day. They should at least download Google Translator and learn how to treat international customers, who may travel more and have more experience than many receptionists. Customers pay your salary! We stayed over Christmas, and the beach view was amazing, with lots of fun decorations for the kids. The hotel was quite nice, the rooms were clean, and the service was okay. I’d suggest adding a kettle to the rooms. All in all, it’s a good hotel in Macae.

There wasn’t a parking space available, but since it was Sunday, we used a spot next door at no extra charge. The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast was simple, as you’d expect for the price, with fruit, yogurt, juice, and pão de queijo, which was warm and tasty.

The hotel is beautifully located, and I loved the accommodations and the welcome. The rooms are huge, with a bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. Staff are very polite and helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. We’ll be back many times. The hotel has been under new management for two months! Thanks, Glória Garden! 😍
