I spent two weeks here for work and would happily return. The rooms feel more like a 2 to 3 star hotel, but they’re kept clean and in good shape. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great Northeastern Brazilian spread. I didn’t try the pool, though it was always packed, and the gym was pretty underwhelming. You’d be better off running outside and seeing people. It’s also a good base in Maceió for visiting the nearby Beaches.

The place feels like it has seen better days, which is disappointing for a hotel with such a high rating. The sea view room was good, but cost extra. My colleague paid the same and ended up in a lousy ground floor room overlooking the car park, with loud, bad music coming from the lobby. Staff don’t speak any English. The main lifts often break down or stop between floors, and reception seems to treat that as normal even when you report it. The room key lock kept malfunctioning too. Maybe these sound like small things, but together they left a poor impression.

The location was good, and the hotel offers taxi trips to nearby cities and other nice spots. The views are nice in some rooms, and the food was good too. The halls could use some decoration, and room service could be quicker. A nice experience overall, with a few small things that need work.

The staff were really kind, and the rooms were great. The hotel is right across from the ocean, which is a good location. Breakfast comes with the stay, but I didn’t think it was very good. One downside: the bathroom has no window.

The people were friendly, but the rooms were pitiful and the WiFi was weak. There were no dressers or drawers, and no bed covers, just sheets like a highway motel. The bathroom was small, with dirty tiles. For a supposed 4 star hotel, not even individual shampoo bottles were provided. I’m never coming back.
