Maceió Mar Resort All Inclusive

The beach is close by and nice, and the staff handling the chairs and umbrellas were a big help. The pools were lovely too, though getting a decent steak by the pool was hit or miss. The line could be so long that the good cuts were gone by the time I got there, then I had to wait again. I usually skipped it, or went earlier to try for a better one. The main restaurant was the big downside. With only one, everyone showed up at once and it got chaotic, especially during the first three days when the resort was packed and loud. The last two days of our five-day May stay were much better. The food there was very good, with choices for all tastes. We also tried one themed restaurant and liked the food, but getting just one booking based on the length of your stay felt odd for an all-inclusive. The staff were friendly and polite, and Ana Paula, who cleaned our room, was especially sweet. We reported a clogged bathroom sink and a shower door that wouldn't shut on day two, but neither issue was fixed, so the bathroom often ended up soaked after a shower. Our room was on the side of the building without balconies, which was a shame. We had a great time overall, and I think the other guests were the problem most of the time.
