Meridiano Hotel

We’d definitely come back. The hotel is beautiful and newly renovated, with large, comfortable rooms and a wonderful restaurant atmosphere. The food was very good, the children's area was amazing, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

The pool was nice, but the hotel felt more like three stars than the five stars most travel agencies claim. It’s old and needs an update, with stained, peeling wallpaper. Families pay a lot for a room, yet seem to get only a side view. The extra bed was just a sofa opened up with sheets thrown over it. Breakfast was chaotic. You have to queue to be seated, then search for cups and forks, and when it gets busy they can't keep up with the dishes or glasses. Service was painfully slow too. I asked twice for an extra pillow and blanket, waited three hours, and still got nothing. They just don't seem to care or feel any urgency. I’ll never stay here again. There must be better options than this so-called five-star hotel sold to me by a Brazilian travel agency.

The location was fantastic, right across from Pajucara’s natural swimming pool and surrounded by all kinds of restaurants. Staff were great and always willing to go the extra mile, and breakfast was included with a good range of international choices. We were there over the Mothers Day holiday, and the hotel gave flowers to all the ladies and had a violinist play nice music during meals.

We had such a great time here. Everything we needed was within walking distance, and the views were stunning, especially from the rooftop pool. Breakfast was great, and there was good food and a variety of drinks at the bar. I loved the kids area, and even without kids you can enjoy the poolside service. Customer service was outstanding too. Totally recommend this hotel!
