OYO Pousada Maceió Paradise - 4 minutos da Praia de Pajuçara

Nice place.

We stayed for a week in early October 2025 and really liked the pousada. The staff were attentive, from reception to the woman making breakfast. The door stays locked for security; there are many people living on the street in that area. It's two blocks from the waterfront. Our room had a minibar, air conditioning, hangers, TV, and a little table, which is plenty if you're just sightseeing. The price was great, and you can borrow a hair dryer from the women at reception. Breakfast was basic but had what we needed: carbs, protein, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. She makes eggs when you ask, and I loved their cuscuz. The place was always clean, and they offered room cleaning nearly every day. If you're looking for luxury and are picky, a hotel is probably a better fit. I'd still highly recommend this place: saving on lodging leaves more to spend on outings, especially since Maceió's beautiful beaches are farther away. Loved it, and wishing you continued success ❤️

We only stayed in the comfortable room for a few hours before heading to the airport. The neighborhood felt unsafe at night. We heard noises, looked out the window, and saw two men with machetes cut open a pickup truck's tarp and steal everything from the back. It terrified us.
