Pousada Beija Flor

The rates were a big plus for us. For what we paid, being so close to the beach made it really good value. We stayed four days and had a great experience. The place was clean, tidy, and well looked after, and the receptionists were very attentive and helpful. Pajuçara beach is just one block away, and the location is excellent. I have nothing negative to say. The only thing to plan for is breakfast, which the pousada doesn’t provide. We also had a little trouble finding nearby places open early for coffee, but I wouldn’t count that as a criticism.

We stayed for five days and would happily come back. It’s a simple, quiet, safe-feeling hotel, and the location is excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and organized, with hot water, working air conditioning and TV, and a minibar that was all fine. The women at reception were very polite, and Gisele was especially attentive and helpful. There’s no breakfast, but they tell you that when you book. For us, it delivered what it promised and was great value. If you’re looking for luxury, you’ll want to pay more and stay at a resort. This place is good for couples or a week-long trip.

The only thing I’d improve is the shower pressure. We’ve had rooms without hot water too, but that didn’t bother us. The rooms have always been really comfortable, clean, and in great condition, and the location and value are wonderful. My boyfriend and I stay here every time we visit Maceió, so often that they know us by now haha. It’s a 10, and we’ll be back soon. If you want LUXURY, go to a resort.

The staff made the biggest impression on me. They’re so welcoming and make you feel at home. Beija-Flor is simple, but really well cared for and organized, and it’s close to everything in Maceió. I was looking for a good price and found a lovely little retreat. I had an excellent stay, highly recommend it, and I’m going back at the beginning of the month.
