Pousada Catamarã Praia de Pajuçara

Low cost, clean, close to the beach, restaurants, and a park. The coffee was good.

The breakfast was another major problem. It looked like food left over from previous days, and some of the cold cuts seemed to be going sour after being stored in the fridge for several days. This was a terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend the place or come back. I chose it based on the listing photos, but was unpleasantly surprised when I arrived because they didn’t match reality. There was no shared kitchen as advertised, and the rooms were in very poor condition with no outside ventilation. The bathroom and shower stall were extremely dirty and moldy, and the pillows were disgusting, making it impossible to have even a minimally comfortable stay. The staff seemed completely unprepared. They also wouldn’t let me contact the owner or manager. I asked several times for contact information so I could make a complaint, but was told they couldn’t give it to me and that the person in charge didn’t even visit to speak with guests. This place can’t be considered a pousada.
