We were five couples traveling with children, and made five separate bookings using five different credit cards. The hotel canceled all five without explaining why. Each couple then lost €70 (420 BRL), or €350 (2,100 BRL) for the group. When we arrived two months after booking, we had to pay the full 11,000 BRL again. The Brazilian real had appreciated, which added another €120 to what we paid. The hotel cancels online reservations and asks guests to pay at reception. Because this policy wasn’t explained in advance, it cost us about €200 (1,200 BRL) extra per couple, around €1,000 (6,000 BRL) for everyone. That’s a huge amount. If you’re booking from outside Brazil, I strongly advise against this hotel chain.

Traveling with children is easy here, thanks to the good facilities, and most of the staff were very kind. The all-inclusive package is pretty good, too. It’s not a good place to go to the beach. Lunch at the main restaurant is served until 3 p.m., but when we arrived at 2:30, they weren’t replacing the food.

I was at the resort for just two days. The service and accommodations were decent, but my room still had problems with the hot water. I hope they get it fixed.
