The location is convenient, close to everything, but the reception was awful. The only person who stood out was the guy working nights. The nearby streets are full of rubbish, smell bad and feel completely unsafe. The place has a motel-like room, with a hard mattress on a masonry bed base, low ceiling and a bad smell. After a night of rain, sewage came up through the toilet and was unbearable. The air conditioner was louder than a Chevette and dripped like a tap. Don't bother asking for room service, they won't do it. And before anyone says I could have left, I did, but only after paying for three nights because there are no refunds. The location is a plus, but with the state of the city centre and its streets, it isn't worth it.

They aren't reliable with reservations. I booked well in advance, but the hotel canceled and gave my room to someone else because they said there was "a lot of demand for vacancies." They said they had tried to confirm with me between 7:00 and 9:00 on Saturday morning, and canceled when I didn't answer. I'd already told them I'd reach town at 23:15 on Saturday. If they'd waited until noon or the start of check-in time for confirmation, I wouldn't have complained. But not giving someone who's traveling and planned ahead enough time to confirm was really frustrating and left me scrambling to find somewhere else at the last minute.
