The rooms have their problems. The AC may be broken or make a whistling noise, and the elevator can get stuck or stop working. Even so, I'd choose Adrianopolis every time I'm in Manaus, because the staff are that kind. On my last visit, a planned two-day stay turned into a much longer one after I got very sick. I felt anxious and bad about having to extend every couple of days, but management kept reassuring me and let me stay in the same room. When I was too ill to get food from the buffet, staff brought plates of it to me. Once, after I mentioned wanting eggs when the buffet had run out, someone made me an omelet. They were so helpful and seemed to care without expecting anything back. I'm getting teary writing this. No other hotel's staff has come close for me.

There's a self-service laundry nearby, and Manauara shopping centre is close too. It's a large mall with a good food court, so you don't have to eat at the hotel. Our apartment had an electronic kettle, microwave, and oven. The bedroom AC wasn't very good, but the other facilities were.

The breakfast offered plenty to choose from, and I especially liked the omelets made to order. Our room was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable two-night stay. The staff were courteous and ready to help.

The street noise comes right through because the windows have no sound insulation. The hotel is well located, but the elevators are very slow, and it's common for one of the two to be out of service.

The rooms are bright and roomy enough, and the sauna works. The gym is decent too. It's a nice hotel, though nothing more than that, so keep your expectations modest. I'd recommend staying here.
