Caesar Business Manaus

The room was nice, the staff polite, and the rate reasonable. But after a long flight, I wanted a proper meal and a chance to relax. The restaurant wasn't open, so the only options were the bar or room service. The espresso was awful too. There was loud praying over a loudspeaker, and I could clearly hear the voice through the megaphone. I have nothing against prayers, but after 17 hours of flying I needed some rest. Next time I'll stay somewhere else.

After a week in the jungle, all I really wanted was air conditioning and a hot shower. Caesar Business gave me those, and the room was better than I expected. The facilities and staff were about what you'd expect from a business hotel. The breakfast spread was superb, probably the best I had during my three-week trip to Brazil. At around R$260 a night, it was excellent value. I'd stay here again if I came back to Manaus.

Nothing outstanding, but it's convenient, centrally located, and good value. They serve craft beer now too, which earns the fifth star from me! One thing to watch: rooms on the 12th floor, and especially the 13th, can get quite noisy from guests jogging in the gym upstairs.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and a reasonable size, and the location is really handy. Breakfast is good too, though the waffles are weird.
