The room itself was lovely: I stayed in the master room with a private pool, and it was comfortable. The facilities also looked new and well kept. But the service made the stay hard. We arrived in the rain with a child, and nobody offered an umbrella or help with our bags, even though the parking area and path to the room are uncovered. That arrival felt chaotic, and the same unwilling attitude seemed to come from staff throughout the stay. The breakfast staff barely greeted us, let alone mentioned the eggs and tapioca available; another couple and we only found out by chance in our last few days. The breakfast could use better quality and more variety. There were no plates or cutlery in the room, so I asked for some to have a snack at night. The receptionist kindly fetched them from the kitchen, but said we had to wash and return them before he left, because the kitchen staff would be angry if anything was missing the next day. I found that comment absurd. Plates and cutlery in the rooms would make sense, as would a microwave guests could use at any hour. The one there is in the kitchen, which is locked at night unless a staff member lets you in. The reception is often empty, so you have to search around the property if you need help. After 9 or 10 p.m. the receptionist leaves, and I got the impression there was no one, not even a guard, looking after the place. Housekeeping was another issue: guests have to request cleaning by a certain time or the room is skipped, and that wasn't explained at check-in. The room was clean when we arrived, but the floor had some product on it that made it extremely slippery. I asked housekeeping to wipe it with a dry cloth because I was worried my son would fall. When we got back, it was still just as slippery. I think with staff training, this place could become the best in Maragogi. For now, I do recommend it, with all these reservations.

The room I stayed in was really spacious and had two bathtubs, and there was a lovely pool outside. The inn is charming, very clean, and centrally located. Breakfast came with fresh products, and the reception staff were very friendly. One drawback: I booked directly with the inn, but they later cancelled one night. I'd book through Booking.com instead.

The accommodations were comfortable, attractive, clean, and roomy, with a very nice shared area. People at reception and the housekeeping staff were polite, and the service was good. Still, reception needs a better schedule, since there are times when nobody is there. Our stay was affected by construction right beside the room we were assigned. The work started early and carried on late, with workers constantly within three metres of the private pool and right in front of our door. My wife and I had to keep the curtains completely closed the whole time and couldn't use the pool because we had no privacy. The inn didn't fix the problem, saying they were full.

Two nights were enough to make us love all the little details. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, which was lovely, and the pool was wonderful. Breakfast fell a little short, and getting down to the sea felt a bit dangerous, but we had a great stay.

The place is spotless, and breakfast has a lot to choose from. Staff are especially attentive to the little details. It’s 200 meters from Barra Grande, the best beach. Dinner service would be a nice addition, though everything they currently offer is excellent.
