Amaraíz Pousada

We loved our stay. The inn is new, with comfortable, good-quality sheets and towels, and the staff were very helpful. Sid was especially attentive. Everything is close enough that we never needed the car: good restaurants, tours, the zoo, and caminho de Moisés are nearby, and the beach is just across the street. It feels peaceful and intimate, away from the city bustle while still being convenient. Thank you so much!

The location is great, close to the best beaches, and I recommend getting a room with pool access. I stayed four days and wished I could have stayed longer. The room and facilities were spotless, the staff were attentive, and Larissa was always there when I needed her.

It's only a few meters from the beach, and the pousada itself is beautiful. The rooms are excellent quality, but quite a few practical things could be better: no safes, no complimentary shampoo or conditioner, and no room guide with instructions, schedules, or recommendations. You have to ask reception for the Wi-Fi password, and the connection isn't very good. The parking lot is under construction. Breakfast is included and adequate, but get there early, around 7-8, if you want the full selection. Three of our four breakfasts were served, and something from the order was forgotten, or we had to keep reminding them about missing items.

The pool bar and pool were both great, and the room was wonderful, brand new, with a comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. Everything was clean, the facilities were excellent, and breakfast and service were great. The staff were polite and very attentive. I'm from São Paulo and will be sure to tell my friends about this place. We're on a long trip, staying at several inns, and this one has been the best by far. I'm really impressed.
