Sol Hostel e Pousada Maragogi

A welcoming, clean, pleasant place! The owner, Sol, is really nice and gave us several great tips for outings in the area. She also has a buggy for tours around Maragogi. So great!

The breakfast was great, and the place was clean and well organized. The staff were kind and considerate.

The room was small and laid out poorly, and the cleanliness wasn't good. The breakfast also fell short. There was no room service, the sink and bathroom hand shower leaked, and the microwave was broken. The very small minibar barely kept things cold, though its freezer worked quickly. There was no parking, and finding a spot on the street was difficult. On the plus side, the internet, air conditioning, Netflix and YouTube on the TV were good. There was a shared fridge and stove, a portable clothes rack, and the location was reasonably convenient. The minibar was new and clean, and the box, sink, bed, air conditioner, shower, and TV all seemed new too.

Sol is really friendly, and the staff are too. Breakfast is included, with lots of options, all delicious. There’s also a pool. There are shared rooms with bunk beds and separate bathrooms, as well as suites. Both types have air conditioning. The shared bathrooms only have regular cold showers. One of the best places to stay in the area. I recommend it to everyone.
