The hotel’s structure could be good, which makes the state of the rooms such a shame. The bathroom was filthy and run-down, the cupboards were old, and so were the minibar and mattress. The TV had problems, the air conditioner was loud, and room cleaning was awful. Breakfast was the worst part for me: poor quality, very little food, and the kitchen staff were rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It needs a major overhaul and the rooms urgently need renovating.

What a complete disappointment. We booked three nights, but after arriving we cut it to one and left the next day. The shower gave electric shocks, there was no breakfast or water, the minibar didn't work, and I even got bitten by a bedbug in the sheets. There was nobody at reception, no garage, and the pool was dirty. I felt like we'd been scammed. I don't know what happened to this hotel, but it felt abandoned. If I'm ever in Maraú again, I'll never stay at this awful place. Baia Sul never again.
