Carapitangui Flats

The rooms could use better soundproofing, but we'd happily stay here again. We came with our baby for four days to explore Barra Grande and nearby places, and get a few days of rest. The service was very good, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. It's on the edge of town, which suited us because we like a quiet setting. The harbor is about a 10-15 minute walk away, or just under 5 minutes by quad bike.

The garden is a real highlight, especially if you love nature. Everything is cared for, lovely, and cozy. The whole inn felt spotless, beautiful, and well organized, with a spacious, comfortable room and rustic but elegant decor. Breakfast was tasty, too. Thais made the stay even better with her hospitality and service. My wife and I were very happy here, and I'd recommend the inn without hesitation.

The room cleaning was good, breakfast was exceptional, and the pool was nice. It was also quiet. The main drawback is the distance from Barra Grande's center. The entrance area gets extremely hot, and the ceiling fan doesn't keep up. The room is too large for its low-powered air conditioner. For a couple, it should be fine, but with children they'll definitely feel hot. The inn no longer offers the flat service that still appears in some listings. Rooms only have a minibar and an electric kettle.

The inn is close to everything, including the beautiful sunset and the cozy, rustic village at night. Thais, the owner, is wonderful: she helps guests, gives great guidance, and is just perfect. Everyone was attentive, the room was excellent, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was special, with fresh food, delicious tapioca, and a great omelet. I loved it!
