My husband and I had an amazing dive today with Anderson (cabeludo). He was attentive, knew a lot, and kept us feeling calm underwater. Seeing the corals and fish of all different sizes and species up close was something else. We loved it!

I just got back from Maraú, and I'm still carrying that feeling of peace and happiness with me. Staying at Carpe Diem made the trip especially memorable. The hosts, Tânia and Anselmo, were caring and welcoming, and the location is great, close to Taipu de Fora beach and its natural pools. The suite was spacious and practical, with high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and a lovely balcony. The shared areas were just as pleasant: an inviting pool and a beautiful green space where you can take in the plants, trees, animals, and sky. I really recommend this lovely place, and I'm sure I'll come back.

Tânia is lovely, and the whole Carpe Diem family makes you feel at home even while you're on vacation. The place itself is wonderful, with roomy, clean, organized rooms and good taste throughout. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Taipu/Maraú or come back. Ten out of ten!
