The location in Taipu de Fora is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant, but for a daily rate of R$ 714 I expected more care and attention to detail. With some straightforward improvements, this place could offer a much better stay. The beds are small for couples and the mattresses are hard, which made resting less comfortable, especially at this price. The showers could be better, and the bathrooms need more attentive maintenance. Towels are small and inconsistent; larger white ones would feel more comfortable and cleaner. Breakfast only starts at 8 a.m., late for a beach destination. It could also be more generous. Tapioca made to order would help, along with more protein choices. During our stay there was only scrambled egg and sausage or calabresa. The afternoon tea was just sweet cake. A cheese roll or another simple savory option would have made it more enjoyable. The attendant did emphasize on arrival that it was complimentary, but I’m leaving the suggestion anyway. We also missed a little consideration from the staff at times. On departure day we started taking our bags out around 7 a.m., while breakfast was being set up. Nobody offered to help or even offered us filtered coffee. The reception area, where breakfast is served, stayed closed, and no one came to speak with us.
