The heated pool was a nice extra, and we found the people running the place easy to deal with.

The triple room felt cramped, and the curtains let in quite a bit of light. I also found the value for money disappointing. The hotel is on the main street for bars and shops at Praia do Francês, and the architecture and decor are lovely, but breakfast had little variety. Staff kept trying to clear our plates, which made it feel like they wanted us to leave the table. Even 20 minutes after breakfast service began, they were still setting things up. There's no dinner option, just tapioca until 6 p.m.

The location is lovely, with the beach and the village's local treats both within walking distance. The couple and staff are very attentive, the rooms are clean, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Breakfast is just right. They take families with children aged 10 and up, but don't accept pets. I'd recommend it!
