Villa Praia Grande

I’ve stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. Roberto is a really friendly host who knows the area well and offers plenty of tips on places to visit. The Guest House has a good setup, with parking space, bathrooms, and a kitchen. It’s also in a great location, close to the beach. I recommend it.

The place is close to the beach, but I couldn’t feel at ease there. The owner stays in the house and rents out another room too, so sharing the one outdoor kitchen with him and the other guests felt awkward. There’s no Wi-Fi, and without internet the TV can’t be watched. I went in the low season and unfortunately it rained. The photos do match the place, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families with children. It seems more suited to someone on their own, since with kids it’s hard to feel comfortable.

It’s a peaceful place, really close to the beach, and the owner is a very friendly guy. I had a very good stay.

Roberto, the host, is such a lovely person. I’m already counting down until I can come back!
