I first visited in 2017 and have returned every year since. Sr. Mauro, the owner, and Daniele, who looks after the house, are so attentive and friendly that big inn and hotel teams could learn from them. The property is simple but incredibly cozy. It works especially well for families or groups of friends who want to spend the day together in the shared spaces while still having a private place that can accommodate up to five families.

There’s plenty of outdoor space, but the old house hasn’t had the care it needs. It’s dark with little lighting, and it isn’t rustic in style or very comfortable. Fine for a short stay, though there’s only one bathroom inside the house.
The host is very warm, kind, and polite, and the place has a wonderful feel, especially in winter if you like cold weather. There’s a pool, barbecue area, a field, three large suites outside, and a games room. The whole house is made of wood and feels very cozy. It’s well worth spending a few days here to relax or take a holiday. The town feels much more welcoming now.
The outdoor area is pretty, but the house has a lot of old wood that creaks when doors open and close. The beds creak too, so getting a good night’s sleep isn’t easy.
