The restaurant is lovely and serves amazing fondue. It’s small, so call ahead to reserve. The price is a little higher than the other local options, but well worth it.

I stayed at the hotel for my birthday and had the triplex. The location is good and breakfast was okay, but cleanliness was poor. There were bugs in the whirlpool, and even with the blind closed, you could see the guests’ relaxation area from the shower, so there was no privacy. There was dust near the head of the bed, a strong smell in the bathroom, and expired soft drinks in the minibar. The most serious issue was that they misled me about the new pool opening. I have messages showing they said it had already opened, but it was still under construction. This hotel has potential, but it needs improvements, especially in customer service, which left a lot to be desired.

The hotel’s open lounge bar has four comfortable seating areas and serves food and drinks, and they also prepare picnics. The playroom is practical, as is the gym, and the bistro serves refined food, especially the fondues. There’s also an L’Occitane spa inside the hotel, a one of a kind in Monte Verde. The rooms are spacious, cozy, clean, and well cared for, and the reception was friendly. Excellent hotel, I recommend it.
