My stay was a real disappointment. The room was dimly lit, messages went unanswered, and there was no one responsible at the inn to help guests. The breakfast also had no staff member on site, which made the lack of organization and guest support clear. On top of that, the room lock was already causing trouble when I arrived. Today I couldn’t get the door open and missed a tour scheduled for 9 a.m.

The shared space has a cozy feel and looks out onto the main street. The inn is near the start of Monte Verde’s main road, so shops are easy to reach without a car. We stayed from 14 to 16/11, and the owner, Antonieta, welcomed us and told us about events happening around town. Our room had good airflow, a thermal sheet, and a spacious bathroom. We did miss having a minibar, but Antonieta kindly let us use the inn’s refrigerator. Breakfast was good, with Minas Gerais favorites like cornmeal cake, cheese bread, and fresh cheese. Chatting with Antonieta and hearing her stories made it a lovely moment.

Breakfast had a good selection and everything was fresh. The place is close to town and the center. There’s a staircase to climb, and it’s beside the furniture store on the right.
