Pousada Vista da Serra

Rosa and Waldir, the owners, are genuinely lovely and very friendly. The pousada is quiet, comfortable, and cozy. Breakfast is arranged with Hotel Pousada das Videiras and was tasty with a good selection. It was well worth it, and I’d happily return. Highly recommend!

The view was incredible, and the pousada felt like a real retreat where we could rest and enjoy the nature around us. Breakfast was delicious, nicely prepared, and served in a cozy atmosphere. The hosts also let us leave our things there after checkout, which made our last day much easier. They welcomed us with such unusual warmth and were always around to help. They shared great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in town, and even surprised us with a room better than the one we had booked. That thoughtfulness made our stay in Monte Verde unforgettable. We’re already missing it and would love to return!

Our room was spacious and had a lovely view, plus a balcony, fireplace, and whirlpool. The cleanliness throughout the pousada was exceptional and made a real difference. Breakfast was a tasty colonial-style meal served at a nearby hotel. Rosa and her husband, the pousada’s owners, welcomed us warmly and were very polite. The location is great if you have a car, close to the center and main avenue, and everything in Monte Verde is nearby. The reception is beside a dirt road, which could be uncomfortable in rainy weather, though the paved avenue provides access to the rooms. There are quite a lot of stairs, so it may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I’d definitely return!

We stayed from 24/04 to 26/04 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Rosa and Valdir were attentive and helpful, and the surprise from the pousada really touched us. The cleanliness, organization, service, and breakfast were all top-notch. We’ll certainly be back.
