North Hoteis

My awful experience was all about the parking. The attendant left and shut the gate after I’d driven in and unloaded my bags. This parking lot isn’t at the hotel, so I’d gone to the address they gave me. When I arrived, the attendant was complaining that he was late. I figured he’d open the smaller gate so I could get out, but he never came back. He’d gone home! It was a surreal situation. I had to call reception to ask them to open the gate, and they didn’t do it straight away.

The view of the church and square is lovely, and the location is great. The service was excellent and attentive, from the receptionists to the cleaning and breakfast staff. That warmth and care means a lot when you’re away from home in the rush of day-to-day life. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice. The standout items for me were the juices made with local fruit and the leite queimado.

From the 9th floor, the view is incredible. The hotel was spotless, and the towels and blanket were clean, individually wrapped and had no smell. The staff were polite and attentive, and breakfast was excellent. The leite queimado is delicious!

The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable, and breakfast is generous. The leite queimado is delicious. I also appreciated the friendly welcome from the receptionists. This is a wonderful hotel.
