Pousada Graciosa

Breakfast was incredible, with fresh food, warm bread, homemade granola and yogurt, all carefully packed and served in generous portions. We also loved the pool and the nearby barbecue area. Our roomy cabin was spotless and smelled fresh, and it had a TV, Wi-Fi and a fan. The setting feels like a little piece of paradise, especially if you want to be close to nature. The service deserves a special mention too, it was amazing. It's well worth the stay, and now I want to come back in winter.

Ste and Albori made us feel welcome from the start and were attentive throughout our stay, taking care that everything was in good shape. We spent three days surrounded by the Atlantic Forest, with beautiful plants, birds everywhere and wonderful sounds both day and night. Rain came every day, with breaks of sunshine and warmth, but that suited our plan to relax. Breakfast on the veranda and long conversations there were lovely parts of the stay. The pousada is on Estrada da Graciosa, far enough from Morretes for peace and time in nature, and close to Ekoa Park. The town is still only about a 10-minute drive away. There is uncovered parking by reception, then a walk through the lovely grounds to your chalet. You get a key and gate remote, so you can come and go freely. I had high expectations after finding the place online, and being there turned out even better. I highly recommend this quiet spot for unwinding and enjoying the Atlantic Forest up close.

The wooden chalets sit around a beautiful, well-kept Atlantic Forest garden, and watching the birds is a real treat, especially the blue jays and hummingbirds. The bed, linens and bath towels were all very good quality. Niussara brought breakfast to our chalet veranda at the agreed time and was exceptionally thoughtful. The meal included breads and cakes made by the owners, remarkable homemade yogurt with organic jams, plus juice and fruit. It's also well worth visiting the brewery run by the same owners as the pousada to learn some of the secrets of good beer. Miriam and Kurt are truly special people. I highly recommend this place.

With just six chalets, Pousada Graciosa feels small and intimate. Nature is all around you, and the combination of comfort and quiet makes it a great place to relax and reconnect with the outdoors. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Having it brought to us so we could eat on the veranda while watching birds was a special experience.
