It was average.

The pool was so cold that nobody could use it, though I can’t really blame the hotel for that. The loungers around it are another matter, many are broken and need repairs. We were there for day use, and at check-in the receptionist seemed lost. He couldn’t explain the hotel facilities or which areas we could use. Near the end of the day we found out there was a hot tub we could have booked, but all the time slots were taken. Since he hadn’t told us about it, we also missed the chance to use the hot tub area’s bathrooms for a shower before leaving. Cleanliness needs work too. The shared bathrooms were dirty. Breakfast had little variety, and when we tried to enter the dining room at 7:55, the cook snapped at us that breakfast only started at 8. Lunch was mixed. The potato salad and well-seasoned tabbouleh were tasty, and the rice and beans felt homemade. The fried breaded chicken tasted good but was greasy. There were also lots of processed chicken nuggets and steaks, which barely count as protein, and some pieces of meat that were fried far too long and overcooked. I couldn’t even tell what they were, maybe chicken gizzards, sliced beef ribs, or fried pork. Whatever it was, it tasted bad. Dessert was a hard little cake they’d already served at breakfast, gelatin, and a few pieces of fruit. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend the experience. They charged full price for my five-year-old nephew, even though their price list said children that age paid only half.

I was there for work and had no choice but to stay. If I were traveling with my family, I wouldn’t stay more than a day. The only decent thing in the room is the air conditioning, and the minibar sounds like a tractor at night. The Wi-Fi was bad, and anyone who needs internet for work is left stuck. We went two weeks without internet. I reported it, but nothing was done. The food was poor quality and completely unseasoned. The meat was tough and rubbery, breakfast needed more variety, the cakes were bad, and there wasn’t enough fruit. The pool and billiards table were the only things worth saving. I wouldn’t recommend it to families.

I stayed at Morangaba Hotel Harmonia from December 19 to 21, 2025, and the experience was HORRIBLE. The rooms were DISGUSTING, with cockroaches, centipedes, ants, and moths all over the place. There were moths on the bed and walls. The bathrooms were filthy, and under the bed were butterfly cocoons and lots of spiderwebs. There was no minibar in the room. The meals were a disaster. Breakfast had food covered in flies and cakes that seemed stale. Lunch and dinner were terrible, and the meat was dry. To make it worse, the blankets were DIRTY and STINKY. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, so it was impossible to connect. The hotel’s cleanliness is UNACCEPTABLE. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND it.
