Apê Namastê

The best part for us was the blend of rustic style, good taste, and gardens. Apê Namastê is calm, family-friendly, and peaceful, with lots of greenery and everything kept nicely. There are several apartments, but people don't disturb each other, and if something comes up, it gets sorted out. The manager Ibrahim is a very capable, cultured person who knows how to deal with people. Definitely a good choice for us.

The manager was pleasant and approachable, but the host wouldn't accept criticism. In the room my family used, there was hair in the bathroom's glass blocks. We also found a cobweb on the door and blood stains on the sofa bed covers. The host required masks outside the rooms, which is right, though the staff themselves ignored that rule. My own room was so dusty that I woke up with swollen eyes. When I told the owner, she insisted everything was very clean and said my allergy was food-related. She only sent someone to clean after I sent photos. The dust between the bricks had built up into grains, like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The cutlery was old and rusty, and bent when I tried to cut anything. The lighting was poor, and the toilet flush had been patched with dental floss. I'd been traveling from Maceió, and this was the worst place I stayed.

Ibrahim, the manager, was very helpful, and the owner Mirela was lovely. She gave us lots of tips for outings and restaurants, and there are several great restaurants nearby as well as fantastic bakeries. The apartment was cozy, simply decorated but really nicely done, very clean, and well equipped. The service was exceptional.
