We booked an apartment through booking, and it was the best priced option in the Ponta Negra area we were looking at. It had two bedrooms and one bathroom, and every room had air conditioning and a fan. The only downside was that parking was on the street, with no garage spaces. We had a rental car and didn’t want to take a risk. The condominium was clean, and the residents and neighbors were quiet. There’s a good-sized pool on the top-floor deck, and the area was always clean and tidy. It was great once we’d had enough seawater, haha. The condominium has a washing machine for clothes since the apartment didn’t have one, but we didn’t use it. The laundry area seemed a bit disorganized and it takes a long time to wash clothes, so we went to the laundromats nearby instead. All in all, we had a good stay and recommend it for the location and the convenience of the condominium.

I had a very bad experience trying to rent one of the condominium apartments over the New Year period through an app, and never got the chance to stay there. I booked about a month before the trip. The day before leaving, I messaged the owner to check that everything was set. To my surprise, she didn’t recognize the booking, even though it was confirmed. She owns two apartments and lists them under the same ad name, and thought another person and I had booked the same unit. Communication with her was difficult. I think she struggles with technology, since she said in a message that she didn’t even have the booking app on her phone, despite renting out two apartments. Instead of helping us find a solution, she kept trying to prove she hadn’t approved my stay. She even said I hadn’t paid, although the payment only comes through a day after I check in. I had to contact the person who rented the other apartment to confirm we hadn’t booked the same place, which was embarrassing for everyone. It turned into an absurd struggle because of the owner’s irresponsibility, and she made things harder instead of helping sort them out. I’d already planned outings in Natal, but she kept insisting I cancel, even after I explained several times that everything was arranged. I can only speculate that she rented it privately and didn’t notice the booking through the app. It caused me a day of stress, and nearly ruined what was supposed to be the start of an amazing trip. Luckily, I found somewhere else and the money was automatically transferred. The app gave me full support and even offered a discount for the trouble. That’s why I’m leaving a negative review and don’t recommend renting here if you want to avoid a headache. It’s a shame, since the apartments look great.

Excellent accommodation. My family and I felt at home. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach and close to the best restaurants. The owner of ap 202 was very attentive. We’ll be back again.
