Flat Pousada da Praia

Great, great, great.

I really like this flat and keep staying there whenever I'm in the area. It's simple, but well organized and clean, with excellent service. The price is very affordable and the location is perfect. There's no luxury, but it's one of the best around.

We spent seven wonderful days here and I felt really comfortable. The view of the sea was incredible, and the bed was comfortable, with clean, fresh-smelling sheets. There's air conditioning, an electric shower, a TV, and cutlery and cups. I also found it useful to have a broom and dustpan in the room. The attendant was very friendly and attentive, checking whether we wanted cleaning and fresh sheets. A great choice if you're after somewhere peaceful at a good price. I highly recommend it!

The location is amazing, and you can see the sea from some rooms. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. Cleaning happens only every five days, and some rooms have damp, mold, and a bad smell. Others don't even have glass shower doors, just plastic curtains. When it rains, the third-floor rooms get leaks, and in one room the air conditioner drips onto the bed. A ground-floor room has a window facing the garbage area. The two employees are really nice and attentive, but they can't keep up with the place, and the conditions are terrible. My wife and I have allergies and suffered a lot, even though we had the most expensive room. The floor cloths are poor quality, and towels and floor cloths are changed only every five days, so everything stays soaked and makes the place even worse. Bed linen isn't changed at all. The place feels more like a motel that's been converted. Even the Smart TV user account is pornographic. The name “flat” is completely misleading. It's not worth it, especially when there are better low-cost options nearby. Maybe that's why there's no free cancellation. Don't come here.
