STAFF STOLE USD200 FROM OUR ROOM AND NOBODY AT THE HOTEL CARED. I COULDN'T GO TO THE POLICE BECAUSE I ONLY REALIZED JUST BEFORE CHECKING OUT AND HEADING TO THE AIRPORT. I TALKED TO THE MANAGER, MR GALVAO, AND HE DIDN'T SEEM SURPRISED AT ALL. NOBODY APPEARED TO CARE. THE ROOM WAS ALSO DISGUSTING, VERY OLD, AND HAD A HORRIBLE MUSTY SMELL. I COMPLAINED ABOUT IT AS SOON AS WE ARRIVED. A STAFF MEMBER CAME, CONFIRMED THE SMELL, AND OFFERED TO SPRAY PERFUME TO COVER IT UP. DON'T GO THERE!!!

The pools are nice, the view is great, and the overall facilities are good. Breakfast was good too, but food and other items during the day are extremely expensive, charged by weight and reaching R$99/kg at lunchtime. Reception can be slow, so even getting a towel may mean waiting in line. They also charge to use the bedroom safe.

The breakfast spread is amazing, and the staff are remarkable. The views are splendid, though the hotel is well away from downtown. At check-in, we waited over an hour because, they said, the "system was offline." I'd strongly recommend it for a short visit of two to four days.

The beach in the moonlight was divine, and the performers were terrific. I had a solid time there, with great hosts and good food. I'm really glad I went, definitely worth it, and I hope to come back soon.

The ocean view is wonderful, and the beach is beautiful and clean. There were hardly any people around, so I didn't have to worry about my things when I went swimming. The internet was a drawback: it was slow, unstable, dropped out about every 30 minutes, and sometimes froze. At reception, only two people spoke English, and getting anything done took a long time, even getting lunch tickets or leaving luggage for safekeeping.
