Marambaia Apart Hotel

A perfect stay, with welcoming staff and excellent, powerful showers. Recommended.

Really great.

Our week-long stay was extremely disappointing. We ran into several problems and didn’t get proper help from the staff. The shower in our room broke and was never fixed. Reception told us the person responsible wouldn’t come because it would take more than an hour to get there. The hotel offered no alternative, so we had to ask another couple who had traveled with us if we could use their bathroom. If we wanted a shower, we were left to sort it out ourselves. We felt completely disregarded. We were also embarrassed at breakfast when staff reprimanded us for sitting down before the scheduled time. They could have handled that more politely and respectfully. On top of that, a pair of shorts disappeared during our stay. When we reported it at reception, they brushed it off and said it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility. The lack of assistance, empathy, and professionalism made the whole experience very negative.

The view of Morro de Careça and Praia is breathtaking, even from our side room. It’s in a great location, close to everything, and we’d come back and recommend it for a family trip. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with tapioca and omelets to choose from. The room furniture and doors could use a little maintenance.
