The complex is clean and well organized, and the neighborhood is quiet. The apartments could be better sealed, though, since cigarette smell from the neighbors gets inside.

The small pool is pleasant, and there’s also a barbecue and entertainment area. The place is about 200m from Rota do Sol, which leads to the southern beaches, and from there it’s easy to get onto Natal’s main avenue, Roberto Freire, where you can find everything you need. Pipa beach is 100km away. There’s an Americanas store 4 km away, and you’ll need to buy a 20L water jug. Refills cost between 7 and 8 Reais. Porto Tropical Residence is a good place to live, and worth checking out for renting or buying. It strikes a sensible balance between living near the beach, where prices are high, and living farther away. It’s a 12-minute walk to the beach. Apartments xx01 and xx02 have all their windows and balcony facing the sea, between north and east. There’s one covered parking space and a gatehouse. Gas and electricity are charged separately, and there’s a condominium fee. It gets quite windy on the upper floors. Across the street there’s synthetic grass that can be rented, and the Corais condominium is right behind.

The higher apartments have a broad view of the sea and Morro do Careca, and you can feel the sea breeze when you step onto the balcony. Porto Tropical is organized and feels secure, with a good location in Natal-RN, about 900 meters from Praia de Ponta Negra. It’s a good value option.
