The staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean. With a good pool and the beach nearby, it felt like very good value. I’d recommend it.

I found this to be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and it seemed like the staff didn’t realize how bad things were. We complained for three days about a sticky patch on the floor before it was cleaned. Two of the four pools were filthy: the beachside pool had so much string algae that we couldn’t see the bottom, and the second-floor pool had such thick scum on its sides that guests were playing tic-tac-toe on it. The rooftop pools were dark, so it was impossible to tell whether they were clean. Our air conditioning only worked after we joined two bare wires together, and at checkout we found dead bedbugs behind the bed. Stay away if you can.

The breakfast was nice, and the rooms were clean, though I’d have liked a little more space. The pools felt small, with hardly anywhere to sunbathe. By early evening, the place was already pretty deserted.

The location is a strong point, and the playground across the street is nice, though it shuts too early. The hotel is very outdated, cleaning could be better, and I wasn’t impressed by the food.

I checked three rooms, then left to stay somewhere else. They were run-down, with dirty floors, stained walls with odd holes, smelly rooms, and flat mattresses. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt, not just renovated.
