We spent 8 days at Fala and had such a lovely stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, and it felt like being at home, with plenty of freedom. They took great care of us, including keeping the bed linen clean. The women working there were amazing and helped with everything we needed. Flavia, the owner, gave us a warm, attentive welcome. We’ll definitely be back.

I couldn’t make sense of this place. I called several times and emailed for about two weeks, but nobody answered. I wanted to stay there in August 2018, but never managed to make contact. In the end I was glad, since I found a wonderful pousada in Itacotiara. When I walked past this place, though, the smell of dog poop and pee was so strong that I crossed the street to avoid its sidewalk. And I have three dogs myself, I love dogs.

It’s a spectacular house just a few meters from Itacoatiara beach, with a great breakfast and a wide selection of craft beers. The only thing I didn’t like was the number of dogs on the property.
