It's a spacious apartment with everything a flat needs, though the unit I stayed in didn't have cleaning service. The location was the drawback. The street gets dark, and I passed the building a few times because I couldn't see it. There's little shopping nearby, and walking to downtown Niterói is a long trek. If you have a car, that matters less, especially since the building has parking.

If you'd rather rent a flat than stay in a hotel or guesthouse, this is a good option, and it has an equipped kitchen. The downside is that shops aren't close by. Still, downtown niteroi is five minutes away, with shopping and Plaza mall.

The condominium is managed very well and, though it seems to date from the nineties, it's carefully maintained. You can find apartments here for short stays, usually with a bedroom, living room, small kitchen, and bathroom. The units vary a lot depending on the owner, so check that the photos are current before renting.

The management seems pretty relaxed about how tenants behave. On Sunday 14/11/2021, a group packed onto a small rooftop terrace had a rave, yelling and playing loud music late into the night. A little nightmare in a completely residential neighborhood.
